Apex Award: Best Win/Loss Record

Winner: Justin Johnson (1316) — 5–0

Justin Johnson emerged as the tournament’s top undefeated performer with a flawless 5–0 record. Although several players also maintained perfect winning percentages, Justin stood apart by winning the highest number of matches without a loss,

demonstrating exceptional consistency, endurance, and control throughout the evening.

Rising Star Award: Biggest Rating Point Gain

Winner: Jason Sze (1144 → 1205) — +61 Points

Jason Sze produced one of the tournament’s most impressive breakthroughs, earning a tremendous +61 rating point increase. His confident play, disciplined execution, and ability to perform under pressure resulted in a standout performance and a significant step forward in his competitive development.

Lion Heart Award: Biggest Upset Win

Winner: Daniel Ghang (602) vs. Gautham Velupally (880)

Rating Deficit: 278 Points

Daniel Ghang delivered the night’s most inspiring upset by overcoming a 278-point rating deficit against Gautham Velupally. His fearless approach, resilience in crucial moments, and determination to challenge a much higher-rated opponent earned him one of the most memorable victories of the event and secured this week’s Lion Heart Award.
