Whether you’re grinding through match play or refining your technique during practice, we’ve all wished for an expert eye to break down our game frame-by-frame.

The Austin Table Tennis Club (ATTC) is excited to announce a new form of high-level instruction straight to your screen—no table time required.

Introducing the ATTC's Video Analysis and Coaching service led by elite table tennis head coach, Shahin .

Coach Shahin has developed youth players who broke into the Top 100 in the ITTF world rankings (such as Noshad Alamian) and worked for 10 years developing Iran's national youth program, as well as coaching in the German Bundesliga, coaching in the Iranian Super League, and serving as an advisor to the Iranian National Team alongside international head coaches.

Here is a full breakdown of how the Video Analysis and Coaching service works and how you can get personalized breakdown on your game.

Why Video Coaching?

While traditional private lessons are essential, recorded expert feedback is a game-changer. Video analysis lets you revisit personalized coaching anytime—giving you a faster, smarter way to level up:

  • Flexible Analysis: Upload your match or training footage on your schedule.

  • In-Depth Technical Leaks: Catch sub-optimal footwork, stroke mechanics, or tactical choices you can't see while in the heat of a rally.

  • Zero Table Friction: Receive elite instruction without consuming precious court space or physical table hours.

What You Get:

To make sure every player receives a clear, consistent, and actionable deliverable, Coach Shahin will provide video annotations. Every completed review delivers:

  • 1 Key Strength: A celebration of what’s already working well in your game.

  • 2 Technical or Tactical "Leaks": Identifying the specific habits or flaws costing you points.

  • 3 Actionable Priorities: Tailored drills, tactical tweaks, or practice exercises you can take straight to the table.
