The Austin Table Tennis Club's Mega Money Tournament on June 20th was an incredible day of competition, but an event of that scale simply does not run smoothly without an exceptional team behind the scenes. ATTC's newest front desk staff member, David Yeakle, truly went above and beyond to make the event a resounding success.
Voice of the Tournament
One of the standout highlights of the day was David’s performance on the microphone. From calling matches to keeping everyone updated on new events, his announcements were clear and engaging, keeping the tournament's energy high all day long.
Given David’s twenty-year tenure as the Producing Artistic Director of Tongue and Groove Theatre and his two decades as an Adjunct Professor at Austin Community College, it is no surprise that he commands the room with such a professional and welcoming presence.
A Huge Thank You!
David’s extensive background in administration and organization, as well as his well-crafted communication skills, were on full display during the Mega Money Tournament. What really stood out wasn't just what he did, but how he did it. The ATTC is incredibly fortunate to have his fun energy and good natured personality on the team.
