My family has been attending Austin Table Tennis Club since 2019 when my son was 8 year old, and it has been an incredible experience. Whether you’re a serious competitor or just looking for a fun way to stay active, this club is the perfect place.

The coaches are top-notch—highly skilled, patient, and truly dedicated to helping players, including children, of all levels improve their technique and strategy. I’ve been especially impressed with the Youth training program under Head Coach Shahin and several other coaches. This program is truly committed to the unique skills and needs of every child, and the suggestions provided by the coaches make an incredible difference in their game. It requires a lot of patience to work with children and all the coaches work diligently and patiently to help children through the years. The Youth training program creates a structured yet engaging environment where kids don't just learn the game, but also build discipline and confidence. Drawing on his distinguished Olympics background and experience, Coach Shahin provides world-class mentorship to the kids in this program.

What really sets this club apart, though, is the friendly environment. From day one, I felt welcomed by the nice community of players. It’s a diverse, supportive group where everyone is happy to share tips or jump into a match. The board of members is equally warm and approachable—they play respectfully, offer great advice, and often share valuable life lessons that go beyond the table. If you’re looking for high-quality training and a great social atmosphere, I can’t recommend ATTC enough!
