ATTC Now a USATT Center of Excellence
The USATT has recognized the Austin Table Tennis Club as a National Center of Excellence. We join a very select group of table tennis centers around the country which have shown a high level of dedication and success in promoting the sport to our community. The club could not have done so without the hard work of our volunteers, the tireless efforts of our staff, and the support of our members and guests. In particular, the efforts of our current Head Coach Yang Yu have really given our club the extra push it needed to attain this national acclaim. As the club continues to grow, we will continue to try to rise to the occasion so we can keep delivering the excellence that our members have come to expect.

Table Tennis Research Subjects Needed
Coach Yang is expanding his research on the types of skills that differentiate players from different rating levels and here is your chance to make a contribution to sport science by offering about 30 minutes of your time.

Coach Yang is looking for volunteers between 1000 and 2000 (club or USATT) rating to practice table tennis with him and perform a series of drills. Yang will record the data he is looking for and each participant will receive some feedback about their skills in different areas. If you would like to participate, fill out the form here and you will be contacted to make an experiment appointment.
Please note that this project is currently on hold but Yang will get back to you when he is ready to resume this research.
